The HANAMI festival has come to an end!

On April 12-13, 2025, on the grounds of the PAN Botanical Garden, we had the crowning event of "Japan Month". - "HANAMI Festival." During the event there was great weather, people and good atmosphere!

In a magical way, the "IKIGAI Foundation" transported us to the Land of the Cherry Blossom! The Botanical Garden at that time was full of workshops, attractions and animations for children and adults. There were concerts, demonstrations of Japanese martial arts aikidō and jūjitsu, shiatsu massage, meditation, a yukata-wearing contest, Kamishibai "theater", dance and painting animations and a kyūdō archery demonstration. The festival program also included lectures and talks on Japanese design, the art of knife sharpening, samurai bushidō and Nihontō (katana), among others. And thanks to the fair, we could all tangibly feel the smells, tastes and cultural heritage of Japan.

Hanami is a traditional Japanese custom of admiring flowers. "The HANAMI Festival is a unique event on the cultural map of the capital. The open-air show of Japanese culture combines elements of a picnic, convention, festival and fair. This year, for the first time, the festival - which has been organized by the Ikigai Foundation since 2021 - lasted as long as two days!
