Join us for a workshop on creating gorgeous bouquets!

We'll start with a short walk through the collection of medicinal and spice plants, during which we'll learn how to select and harvest the flowers ourselves for a wonderful bouquet. This is a great opportunity to learn about the variety of plants available and the secrets of growing and caring for them.

Then we will invite you to a practical florist workshop, during which:
We will learn to create beautiful flower compositions,
We will learn the meaning and symbolism of selected plants,
We will discover what role bouquets played in folk culture.

"In August, every flower cries out - carry me to church".
"When the weather is warm on Assumption, the herbalist makes a second harvest of herbs."

Until recently, it was common among villagers and small towns to believe that the consecration of a bouquet by a priest heals and increases the power of the herbs in it. In reference to the Catholic feast of August 15, Our Lady of the Herbs, we will learn about ancient customs and rituals of Polish folk culture.

In Slavic tradition, bouquets were not just decorative - they had deep symbolic and protective meanings. Created from herbs, flowers and grasses, they served as amulets to protect the home and family from evil forces. It was believed that properly selected plants brought health, fertility, love and prosperity.
This is an ideal opportunity not only to develop your florist skills, but also to immerse yourself in the richness of folk tradition and discover the magic of plants that grow right next to us.

See you at the workshop!
