Welcome to the Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Covering an area of 40 hectares, we have been amassing a valuable collection of plants since 1974, which we opened to the public in 1990. Please familiarize yourself with Regulations for visiting the Garden.
Regulations for visiting the Garden
§ 1
PAN Botanical Garden - CZRB in Powsin is available to visitors during the hours listed, which are given, among others, on the website, social networks, Google account and at the entrances to the Garden. Outside the opening hours, access to the Garden is possible only after obtaining permission from the Director of the PAN Botanical Garden or an authorized employee.
§ 2
Admission to the Garden is paid. Visitors must carry a ticket or pass and present it for inspection whenever called upon by an employee of the Garden. The purchased pass or used admission ticket is not transferable to another person.
§ 3
People under the age of 15 are allowed in the Garden only under adult supervision.
§ 4
Visitors are allowed to walk only on designated paths and other areas open to the public. It is forbidden to enter flower beds, elements of garden architecture and areas excluded from visiting.
§ 5
It is strictly forbidden to pick plants and fruits or obtain any plant material in the Garden. Some plants are poisonous, so for your own safety do not touch, pick or eat any plants, their fruits or seeds.
§ 6
On the territory of the Garden it is strictly forbidden to bring in and ride bicycles, scooters, scooters, skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, skis and other vehicles that may pose a danger to visitors. Children under the age of 3 may ride tricycles. Persons with disabilities may use strollers, bicycles or other mobility-enhancing vehicles upon presentation of a document proving their disability, and are required to mark the above-mentioned vehicles with a sticker indicating a privileged vehicle - for a disabled person.
§ 8
Lighting fires, smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes and tobacco, drinking alcohol (except in designated areas) and using any stimulants are strictly prohibited in the Garden. It is forbidden to bring objects that may disturb the peace (this includes sports equipment and playing equipment) or cause danger to others.
§ 9
It is forbidden to bring any animals into the Garden except guide dogs of the blind.
§ 10
Photography for private use is free of charge. Taking photo shoots, both occasional and commercial, as well as recording video footage is for a fee, which is included in the Terms and Conditions of providing access to the Garden for photo shoots https://ogrodpan.pl/dla-zwiedzajacych/sesje-fotograficzne-i-filmowe
§ 11
The use of drones and other flying models is prohibited in the Garden. The use of a drone for a legitimate reason requires the approval of the Director or a person authorized by him.
§ 12
The visitor is responsible for any damage done by himself (including material liability). In the case of damage done by children, material responsibility is borne by the child's parents or guardians.
§ 13
PAN Botanical Garden - CZRB in Powsin is not responsible for accidents and incidents caused by non-compliance with the rules and regulations, failure to comply with the rules of use of the facility, as well as general health and safety rules.
§ 14
Persons disobeying the Rules and Regulations for visiting the Garden may be asked to leave immediately without being able to apply for a refund of the ticket fee. Violators of the Rules and Regulations in a blatant manner may be subject to sanctions under the Civil or Criminal Code.
§ 15
In matters not regulated, binding decisions are made by the director of the Garden or persons authorized by him.
