Every road leads to some destination. The Botanical Garden is reached by Prawwka Street, which has had different faces over the years. Back in the mid-1970s, it looked like an ordinary dirt road. After construction work began at the Garden, asphalt was poured on it and the inconspicuous dirt road became paved Prawdziwka Street. However, the asphalt ended where the Garden ended, and a very extreme dirt road continued for many more years.
At that time there was little traffic on Prawdziwka Street, with literally a few cars a day passing through. In 1999, the city bus line 139 began to run along Prawdziwka Street, but the road from the bus terminus located just outside the Garden was still poorly passable. Everything changed when Prawdziwka Street received an asphalt surface along its entire length. Since then it has been a heavily traveled route and one can often get stuck in traffic here, especially when the Garden has seasonal attractions, such as when the sakuras, magnolias or rhododendrons are in bloom.
