After lengthy preparations, the first restoration work at Villa Janówek began in early July.

Renovated was the plafond entitled. "Pleiades" painted in 1943 by Wojciech Fangor on the ceiling of the family living room. The monumental fresco depicts the well-known constellation Pleiades, from Greek mythology the seven daughters of Atlas, who carried the heavenly vault at the behest of Zeus. In accordance with Zeus' will, the sisters were placed in the sky, thus gaining immortality.

In 2020, the plafond was entered in the register of the MVCC, and from that point on, efforts to renovate the monument began.

An earmarked grant from the Mazovian Regional Monument Conservator based in Warsaw and the Polish Academy of Sciences for conservation and restoration work on the villa, commonly known as Fangorovka, was awarded in early June. The work is expected to last until the end of 2022.
