A project on anatomical-dendroecological-dendrochronological studies of Picea abies (L.) H.Karst. conducted by the Forest Research Institute and the Silesian Botanical Garden. In this project, extra-long cross sections were made from bores taken from P. abies; preparations were obtained using a core-microtome.
