It is with deep sadness and regret that we received the news today of the decidedly untimely death of Pavel Gorski - painter, illustrator, illustrator - an artist whose works were presented in 2019 at the Fangorovka gallery in our Botanical Garden in an exhibition entitled "In Search of Nature."

It is extremely difficult for us to write about him in the past tense, because not long ago we hosted him in the Garden. Mr. Pawel seeks (has sought) nature at every turn, in the forest, in the garden, during numerous bicycle trips and mountain hikes. He does (has done) abstract painting, drawing, applied graphics, illustration and designs (has designed) interiors. Since the beginning of his artistic path, the artist is (was) faithful to the encaustic technique.

He lives (lived) and works (worked) in Zalesie Dolne, near our Botanical Garden.

We join in pain with the Artist's loved ones - Mrs. Mira Walczykowska, the children and all those affected by this death, as we are.
