Plant Biodiversity and Conservation Practice in Nepal

On May 17 at 2 pm, our Garden will host a seminar with Yuba Raj Subedi - an employee of the Nepal Mountain Research and Development Foundation.

Yuba Raj is a forester by training. She has years of experience in climate change adaptation and mitigation research in Nepal. He is currently working as a consultant on raising funds for innovative solutions for climate change vulnerable groups. He has participated in the Nepal Climate Change Support Program (NCCSP) on behalf of the United Nations Development Program as a coordinator for district energy and environment. He is also a local government activist for the city of Kathmandu.

At the seminar, Mr. Subedi will give a presentation on plant biodiversity and conservation in Nepal. In addition, he will talk about the relationship that exists between Nepal's flora and local communities.

All interested parties are welcome to attend this meeting.
