Substantive settlement from funds received by the NSC grant based on the decision of the Chairman of the Scientific Research Committee No. 16/E 52/53/92.

Tasks financed with SPUB funds from 01.08.1992 to 31.12.1993

Modernize and expand the collection of tropical, subtropical plants and other species displayed in greenhouses.

Adaptation of a 600-square-meter two-chamber greenhouse for tours.

Ensure proper climatic conditions in the greenhouse by establishing:

-temperature control system,

-shading system,

- irrigation system,

-ventilation system.

All the above-mentioned systems are controlled automatically depending on the set parameters and prevailing conditions both inside and outside the greenhouse. About 800 taxa of tropical and subtropical plants are expected to be planted.

Development of the collection of ground plants by preparing the foundation for collections of deciduous trees and shrubs and ornamental perennials in the form of a flowering and ornamental garden throughout the season .

For this purpose, the following work was carried out

- The concept and technical design of the exhibition.

The collection consists of:

- pedestrian roads,

- system of reservoirs and watercourses,

- Collection irrigation and sprinkler systems.

- relief

The flat terrain was modified by making artificial hilly formations. The creation of substrates for selected plant species according to their growth and development requirements was also used.

Expand collections and build semi-natural sites for protected and endangered species of Poland's flora, especially for different types of deciduous forest habitat complexes.

Na terenie skarpy zachowującej cechy naturalnego lasu o powierzchni około 8,5 tys m2 zaplanowano i wykonano ekspozycję gatunków rzadkich, zagrożonych i ginących siedlisk lasu liściastego.

Prepare assumptions for the creation of an exhibition of endangered and extinct species of mountain and xerothermic plants, and carry out work on the completion of an aquatic plant exhibition.

Expansion of infrastructure securing accumulated research collections and displays introductory nursery of trees and shrubs and other green areas.
