Zapraszamy do udziału w konkursie fotograficznym – Azalie i różaneczniki!

Wszystkich miłośników fotografii zapraszamy do wysyłania single zdjęć na konkurs, w terminie od 1 kwietnia to 15 czerwca 2025. Wyniki zostaną ogłoszone 29 czerwca 2025.

Regulamin Konkursu Fotograficznego Azalie i różaneczniki 2025:

AZALIE I RÓŻANECZNIKI
(hereinafter referred to as the "Contest")

I Organizer of the Competition
Organizatorem Konkursu jest PAN Ogród Botaniczny – Centrum Zachowania Różnorodności Biologicznej w Powsinie ul. Prawdziwka 2, 02-973 Warszawa (zwany dalej „Organizatorem”).

II Purpose of the Competition
Celem konkursu jest ukazanie na fotografiach piękna kwiatów azalii i różaneczników.

III Participants in the Competition
Participants of the Contest may be adults with full legal capacity, as well as children and adolescents with the written consent of their parents. Employees of the Organizer and other entities cooperating in organizing and conducting the Contest, as well as members of their families (spouse, parents, children, siblings) are not allowed to participate in the Contest.

IV Duration of the Competition
The competition will last od 1 kwietnia to 15 czerwca 2025 – a wyniki zostaną ogłoszone 29 czerwca 2025. Photos can only be submitted electronically to: warsztaty@ob.pan.pl with the wording in the title of the email: KONKURS FOTO – AZALIE I RÓŻANECZNIKI.

V Competition categories
Zdjęcia mogą być nadsyłane w jednej z trzech kategorii:

  • Category „Dorośli” - photo taken with a camera.
  • Category „Do lat 18” - photo taken with a camera.
  • Category "Smartphone" – zdjęcie wykonane telefonem komórkowym (bez podziału na kategorie wiekowe).

VI Competition photos

  • Each participant may submit single photo high quality, recorded in "JPG" in size not less than 3000 px (longer edge), but not exceeding the size of the 6 MB.
  • Uwaga – zdjęcia konkursowe mają być wykonane w 2025 roku! The organizer reserves the right to exclude from participation in the Contest works of low technical quality.
  • Photos submitted to Competition can be subjected to so-called global correction - digital processing, involving cropping, brightening, contrasting, color modifications, adding vignettes, etc. On the other hand, changes involving photomontage and other digital manipulation are unacceptable!

VII Photo submissions
Confirmation of participation in the contest is an e-mail response from the Organizer about the qualification of the photo for participation in the contest. The Organizer is not responsible for the effectiveness of the Internet connections used by the Contest participants.
When submitting a photo to the Contest, please include the author's name, category and contact information (e-mail and phone number). Works that have not previously won in other competitions and have not been published in the media can be submitted to the Contest. Photos that do not meet the above requirements will not be admitted to the Competition.

VIII Jury of the Competition
Photographs submitted to the Competition will be evaluated by a jury, the composition of which will be determined by the Organizer. The deliberations of the jury will be secret. Decisions of the jury are final and binding for all Participants. Decisions of the Competition jury cannot be appealed. The jury's evaluation of individual photos is not made available.

IX Settlement and Winners of the Competition
The jury will select from among the photos submitted to the Competition:

• Trzy fotografie w kategorii wiekowej „Dorośli” taken with a camera;

• Trzy fotografie w kategorii wiekowej „Do lat 18” taken with a camera;

• Trzy fotografie w kategorii "Smartphone" made with a cell phone.

Zdjęcia zwycięzców zostaną opublikowane na stronie www.ogrodpan.pl oraz fanpage’u Organizatora na FB po ogłoszeniu wyników. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do niewyłonienia zwycięzców w poszczególnych kategoriach.

X Competition prizes
Nagrodami dla laureatów Konkursu są nagrody rzeczowe oraz karnety/vouchery wstępu do PAN Ogrodu Botanicznego – CZRB w Powsinie. Termin wręczenia nagród zostanie ustalony przez Organizatora i ogłoszony na stronie internetowej www.ogrod-powsin.pl oraz na Facebooku Organizatora.

XI Copyright
With the submission of the photos to the Organizer, the Participant declares that:

1 He is the sole creator of the photos within the meaning of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights, he is entitled to all copyrights to the photos, which are not encumbered by any rights or claims of third parties;

(2) The photos do not violate any rights or personal rights of third parties, and the Contest Participant has obtained the permissions required by law and the consents of the persons depicted in the photos for the dissemination of their image in the Contest and within the scope of the following license;

3. He/she grants the Organizer a gratuitous, non-exclusive, not limited in time or territory, non-transferable and non-sublicenseable license (with the right to grant further licenses) to use the photographs in the following fields of exploitation: in terms of recording and reproduction - production by any technique, including, magnetic recording, photosensitive, audiovisual, digital, optical, printing, computer techniques regardless of recording format and medium, size, form, technique, binding, type and manner of distribution or publicity; introduction into computer memory, temporary and permanent recording and making copies of such records; archiving of records; in terms of marketing - placing on the market; renting, lending, exchange with third parties at home and abroad; broadcasting by wire and wireless vision by terrestrial stations, via satellite (encrypted and unencrypted signal) together with the right to retransmit on digital platforms and/or cable networks, Internet broadcasting; simultaneous integral broadcasting (re-broadcasting) by another television organization; in terms of dissemination by means other than those mentioned above - making them available to the public in such a way that anyone can access them from a place and at a time of their own choosing; on the Internet (including Internet services/portals, telephone, data communications, multimedia and computer networks; interactive use; making available through streaming media; publication in whole or in fragments, use in whole or in fragments in other publications, including compilations, collections, collective works or combinations with other goods, including other works, in various altered and abridged versions, versions with altered illustrative or informational layer; use in publishing materials including: promotional, informational; the right to use in whole or in part and to combine with other works; the right to exercise a dependent copyright, together with the right to grant further permission in this regard, including in particular: editing/development, compilation, adaptation, translation into other languages, etc., as well as proofreading;

4. authorizes the Organizer to decide on the first release of photos to the public.
The use of the work within the framework of the license referred to above shall respect the personal rights of the authors, including the right to authorship of the work submitted to the Competition, as well as the right to self-publish the work after the outcome of the Competition.

XII Personal information
By entering the Contest, each Contestant agrees to the processing of his/her personal data to the extent and for the purpose necessary to conduct the Contest with his/her participation. Consent is voluntary, but is necessary for participation in the Contest.
The administrator of the Participants' personal data is the Organizer. Persons affected by the above data have the right to access and correct their data.
Participants' personal data will be processed in accordance with the regulations on personal data protection, in particular the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 101, item 926, as amended) to the extent and for the purpose necessary for the conduct and execution of the Contest with the participation of a given participant and the purposes of the Contest, the possible delivery of the prize and the inclusion of the participant's personal data on the list of Contest winners, as well as to the extent necessary for the Organizer and the Co-Organizer to exercise their rights under the license granted by the participant.
The aforementioned data will also be shared with entities related to the Contest and its subject matter, in particular, to the extent and for the purpose related to the execution of the Contest and its subject matter, as well as the presentation of its participants and winners and their contest entries.
To the extent and for the purpose necessary for the preparation, implementation, promotion, advertising and documentation of the Competition, the personal data of Participants may be shared with third parties.

XIII Final provisions

- Submission of photos to the Contest is tantamount to acceptance of the terms of these Regulations.

The Contest Regulations will be made available on the Contest Organizer's website.

- The obligation to pay income tax on prizes shall be borne by the Winner entitled to receive them. The tax is 10% on the gross value of the prize. The payer of the tax indicated above is the Organizer. The possibility of exchanging the prize in kind for a cash equivalent or for another prize in kind is excluded.

- The Organizer is not responsible for: non-delivery of the prize caused by the Participant's failure to send or the Participant's sending incorrect personal data necessary for the delivery of the prize.

- Failure to claim the prize within a given period does not change the rights of the organizers to dispose of the photos.

- Changes to the Rules of the Contest are made by the Organizer and announced on the Organizer's website. The changes to the regulations become binding upon their announcement, however, the Participant has the right to resign from further participation in the Contest within 7 days of the announcement of the changes to the regulations.

- If any of the Participant's statements contained in the Contest rules prove to be untrue, the Organizer will be entitled to exclude the Participant from the Contest and demand the return of the awarded prize.

- In the event of any claims of third parties against the Organizer related to the violation of copyright or personal rights as a result of using the photo submitted to the Contest in accordance with the provisions of the regulations, the author of the photo will be obliged to indemnify the Organizer from any liability, including, in particular, to satisfy any damages and compensation awarded or agreed by way of settlement, and to cover all court costs and costs of legal representation.

- Decisions in matters not covered by the Contest regulations are made by the Organizer. In matters not regulated by the Contest Regulations, the provisions of Polish law shall apply. Any disputes related to the Contest will be considered exclusively by the court having jurisdiction over the Organizer's seat.
