Already on June 14, 2025, the Ecological and Climate Debate Tournament will have its finale at the Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences!

The event promotes discussions on ecology and climate change in the form of Oxford debates. Its goal is to gain knowledge, rhetorical training and encourage young people to engage in global conversations about the environment, health and sustainability. The debates are organized in conjunction with the Cracow Speakers Association. Two teams of four people participate in the debate. The task of one of them (the proposition) is to agree with the thesis, while the other team (the opposition) must deny the thesis. That is, we have arguments "for" and "against."

Each speaker is given 5. minutes to present his or her "rationale". Questions or information relating to the content of the speech can be submitted. By the decision of the judges, the team that better presented the analyzed arguments and successfully challenged the arguments of opponents wins.

Who will win this year's struggle? Which team will prove to be the best in the argument? Come and see for yourself!
