In 2019, the Dragon Tree Consortium was founded in Brno, bringing together scientists from around the world to study dragon trees (Dracaena spp.). The first result of this collaboration is a review article presenting the current state of knowledge on morphology, anatomy, physiology, as well as the extraction of the famous resin known as "dragon's blood."
