Azaleas and rhododendrons - a walk in the colors of the "rainbow".
Join us for a unique walk through the most colorful part of the Arboretum - the collection of azaleas and rhododendrons, forming a picturesque composition under the crowns of oaks and pines. It is here, in the place called "rainbow", that in spring you can admire a fever of colors - from delicate pastels to intense reds and purples.
Long ribbons of evergreen rhododendrons and deciduous azaleas grow along Oak Avenue and in adjacent clearings, accompanied by larches. In full bloom, they form an extremely impressive, multi-layered composition - low, colorful azaleas are interspersed with large-flowered rhododendrons several meters tall.
