Research issues:
- Analysis of plant cell differentiation processes in culture in vitro.
- Elucidating the determinants of induction and expression of somatic embryogenesis in ferns.
- Determine the role of endogenous hormones in the induction of somatic embryogenesis.
- Tracking the changes that occur during the formation of somatic embryos from vegetative cells at the physiological and morphological levels (light, electron and confocal microscopy).
