Research interests
- Structure and function of the vascular cambium, including the mechanism of formation of the stacked structure of the cambium, the effect of intrusive growth on the growth of the perimeter of the cambium cylinder, the localization of intrusive growth within the cambium initials and their derivatives taking into account the type of mechanical stresses occurring within the cambium, xylem and phloem.
- Effects of environmental factors on wood anatomy.
- The influence of environmental factors on the geographic distribution of trees with different types of wood vascularity.
- Adaptation strategies used by deciduous trees.
