Research interests
Developmental anatomy of woody plants; the mechanism of radial growth of woody plants; the mechanism of intrusive growth of vascular cambium initials (in the stacked cambium and non-stacked cambium), wood fibers and vascular members; the growth and differentiation process of stem cells of wood and phloem; the formation of the distribution pattern of vascular members and the adaptation of trees with different types of wood vascularity to environmental conditions.
Education
2010 - Master's degree (major in biology), Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, University of Opole. Master's thesis entitled. "Mechanism of radial growth of deciduous trees on the example of. Fraxinus excelsior".
2018 - PhD in biological sciences (area of natural sciences, field of biological sciences, discipline of biology), Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, University of Opole. Doctoral thesis entitled. "Mechanism of growth of initial cells of the cambium, vascular members and wood fibers on the example of selected species of deciduous trees".
