In response to an invitation from the editors of the magazine Botánica Macaronésica A review article was written in Spanish on the anatomy of the "wood" of the dragon tree (Dracaena draco), an endemic of Macaronesia and Morocco. The author of the article, Joanna Jura-Morawiec, Ph.D., professor of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has been working for several years with the Jardín Botánico Canario "Viera y Clavijo" in Gran Canaria to study the biology of the Dracaena spp.
