Yesterday, the Garden hosted the Chancellor of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Monika Kallista, and the Director of the Finance and Budget Office, Magdalena Majchrzycka. The visit was accompanied by directors Arkadiusz Nowak, Pawel Kojs and Piotr Zakrzewski, chief accountant Katarzyna Romanowska and head of the Communications Office Malgorzata Szymanczyk.

During the meeting, the most important needs for the renovation of the Garden's infrastructure were discussed. Special attention was paid to facilities in urgent need of modernization work, such as the seed bank, technical buildings E, F, and H - more widely known as Fangorovka, which hosts art events in the summer.

Visitors also toured the greenhouses, which are in need of renovation, requiring significant funding. The visit also included modern toilets for visitors, a garden store launched last year and a bistro.
The meeting was also an opportunity to highlight the Garden's key role in research and popularization of science, and to talk about its future development.
