Come with us to the Hanami 2025 Festival!
Hanami Festival is a unique event on the cultural map of the capital. It is an outdoor show of Japanese culture that combines elements of a picnic, convention, festival and fair. It has been organized since 2021 by the Ikigai Foundation, which was established specifically for this purpose, but it has existed in various forms and locations as an original event by Ewa Strebeyko, head of the Foundation, since 2010.
This year we are taking a huge evolutionary leap, as for the first time the festival will last for two days! Please join us on Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, at the Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Powsin. The festival is organized, as every year, in close cooperation with the Garden as the culmination of Japan Month. You are cordially invited!
It's worth following the updates of the event, because it will be happening!!! Well, and we hope that these two days of the festival will be a guarantee to catch spring rays of sunshine. If not one day, then the other.
Also new for 2025 will be the fact that the festival program will include talks and lectures in the halls of the Botanica Cafe&Bistro building, and a large tent full of workshops and activities for children and adults will be located on the festival grounds.
From the Garden's side, the convenience will be the ability to purchase admission tickets online. We are also planning tickets with the option to choose the day, so you won't have to decide right away whether you will visit on Saturday or Sunday! This will be super convenient.
