From June 11 to July 12, we invite you to the gallery at Fangor Manor for an exhibition entitled. "Painterly Encounters with Mazovia."

The exhibition can be visited on weekdays from 12-6pm, and on weekends from 11am-5pm.

Ryszard Gbiorczyk was born in 1940 in the village of Dluzhyn in the Leszno district. He is a member of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists. He completed his university studies at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. He started painting 60 years ago, but before that he helped his father in restoring churches, making polychromes and restoring sculptures. He had his first painting exhibition in 1961 in Warsaw, and later presented his works at 40 other exhibitions throughout the country and abroad - in Croatia, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States.

His greatest fancy is painting outdoors, and the themes of his paintings include landscapes and landscapes, as well as various forms of architecture - castles, palaces, old houses, manors and mansions, churches and Orthodox churches, chapels or water mills and windmills. He is a native of Greater Poland, but for the last 60 years he has associated his life with Mazovia, which is why the subject matter of his paintings and drawings largely depicts this region of Poland. For many years he has been connected with Kuklówka - the place of residence and work of our great painter Jozef Chelmonski, where he always spends his vacations. Therefore, one can find inspiration from the master in his paintings.
